CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) – Gov. Brian Sandoval has signed a bill allowing terminally ill patients in Nevada to try experimental drugs.

The governor approved AB164 on Wednesday, after the bill unanimously passed the Senate and Assembly.

The measure allows terminally ill patients with less than a year to live to use drugs that have cleared the first phase of testing by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
